Led by his deep interest in British heritage, James follows the members of vintage and history societies as they travel into the past. While their attire might remind him of his own childhood and youth in 1930s, 40s and 50s London, his fascination seems free from nostalgia. Instead of longing for the times gone, he playfully connects with the time-travellers themselves, and explores the personalities this aesthetic helps them convey.
